Organiser terms, fees & refunds

Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms apply in addition to the general Terms of use whenever you hold an organiser account or pay for a listing on Slosh.

1.Pricing

  • 3 free credits — every new organiser account gets three free one-off listings. A credit is used when a one-off listing goes live.
  • £2 per one-off listing — once your free credits are used, each additional one-off event costs £2 to publish.
  • £9.99 per month — the subscription unlocks unlimited one-off listings plus recurring and multi-day (block) listings for as long as it's active.
  • All prices are in pounds sterling. Any VAT or sales tax due in your country is calculated and shown by Paddle at checkout and included on your invoice.

2.Payments & our Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all organiser purchases on Slosh: Paddle takes the payment, issues your invoice or receipt, calculates and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax for your country, and handles refunds and payment queries. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Slosh never sees or stores your full card number.

  • One-off fees are charged when you choose to publish the listing. The listing goes live as soon as the payment succeeds.
  • The subscription renews automatically every month on the day you first subscribed until you cancel. You can cancel at any time via "Manage billing" in your dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid month and nothing further is charged.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it for a few days. If it still fails, recurring listings are hidden (not deleted) until a payment succeeds.
  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling; Paddle may display a local-currency equivalent at checkout.

3.Refund policy

You can request a refund within 14 days of any payment — a one-off listing fee or a subscription charge — by emailing support@slosh.events or contacting Paddle directly with the listing name and the date of payment. Refunds are processed by Paddle back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days.

  • One-off fee: refunded in full if the listing never went live, or if it went live but you ask within 14 days and the event has not yet started.
  • Subscription: the most recent monthly charge is refundable within 14 days of being taken if you haven't published a recurring or block listing in that period. Otherwise, cancel before the renewal date and you keep access until the paid month ends.
  • Listings removed for breaking the Safety & listing rules: handled case by case; deliberate misuse is not normally refunded.
  • Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the 14-day cancellation right for digital services in the UK and EU.

4.Listing lifecycle

  • One-off listings disappear from search when the event ends and are deleted shortly afterwards.
  • Block (multi-day) listings show until the last day ends.
  • Weekly listings stay live while your subscription is active. If the subscription lapses they are hidden, not deleted, and return when you resubscribe.
  • Cancelling an event keeps it visible, marked cancelled, for 48 hours so people who saved it are told. Deleting a live listing does the same before it's removed.

5.Your responsibilities

  • Keep the listing accurate — especially price, time and address.
  • Only link to a genuine booking or information page you control or are authorised to use.
  • Only upload images you own or have permission to use.
  • Hold whatever licences, insurance and permissions the event needs. Slosh is a listing service, not the event organiser.

6.Account closure

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support@slosh.events. Active subscriptions are cancelled and remaining free credits are forfeited. We may close accounts that break the Safety & listing rules.
