Cookies & device storage

Last updated 13 September 2026

Slosh doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and there's no cookie banner because everything we store on your device is strictly necessary for the features you use.

1.What we store on your device

  • Saved events — the IDs of listings you've saved, so they're still there when you come back.
  • Remembered location — the town, city or postcode you typed, so you don't have to retype it.
  • Device ID — a random code that enforces the five-searches-a-minute limit and prevents duplicate reports. It identifies the browser, not you.
  • Search timestamps — the times of your last few searches, for the same limit.
  • Organiser session (organisers only) — a sign-in token so you stay logged in to your dashboard.

2.Third-party cookies

None are set by Slosh itself. When you tap through to a ticket site, map or venue website, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log a request from your browser.

3.Analytics

We currently run no analytics. If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-free measurement in future we will update this page and the date at the top.

4.How to clear it

Clear your browser's site data for Slosh and everything above is removed. Your saved events will disappear too — we have no copy to restore them from.
